Antique Deconstructed French Chair 55 With Hessian Back And Calico Seat
A beautiful deconstructed French Antique chair from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. To the rear the outer upholstery has been removed to reveal the fabulously chic timber construction and vintage stitching. The seat has been stripped to reveal the original calico seat lining. These occasional chairs have the modern rustic look in spades. These stripped back country house chairs look beautiful in bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms and studies.
Hand stitched and traditionally upholstered with upholstery pins on show these are the ultimate decorative antique. Elegant turned timber legs to the front and simple legs to the rear. The construction of the chair is revealed at the back.
Fabulous as a bedroom or fireside chair. Add a sheepskin throw for an extra layer of luxury.
