Antique Trug With Lining
Wooden trug with a vintage fabric lining.
This charming wooden trug would have been used to carry and display products in local market gardens.
The handmade timber carrier is traditionally constructed, using reclaimed materials. Â This is not a mass-produced item and would have been made by the gardener/ farmer in small quantities.
We have not restored these trugs in any way, expect very rustic condition. Our trugs have signs of historic woodworm which is either treated or dormant.
Fabulous for magazine, fruit, gardening. Â They make wonderful merchandising props.
