Each dish is hand thrown then carved using a technique unique to the potter.  They are too beautiful to just use for flans of course, we use ours as a decorative item and to serve side dishes  and nibbles.

Each flan dish is 22cm in diameter and 4 cm high.  £34 each.

Hilda makes modern, handmade pottery that is simple, beautiful and functional.  We offer a range of her ceramics which she individually throws at the potters wheel in her garden studio in Surrey.  Each item is individual in that the glaze pattern varies from vessel to vessel. Each pot is hand thrown and not slip cast.

Also available in the range are mugs, planters, utensil pots, carved jugs, vases and pencil pots.

Homebarn is situated just 25 Miles west of London in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Chiltern Hills . The River Thames runs through the historic market town of Marlow just a mile along the road. Marlow and nearby Henley on Thames are worth a visit for their lovely shops café’s and notable Michelin starred restaurants.

Almost everything is online so you don’t need to leave the house to pay us a visit! However, if you really want to have the full Homebarn experience then you will have to visit us and perhaps go for a country walk, have a pub lunch and buy some fresh eggs from the on-site farm shop. If you fancy a day out in the countryside then Homebarn is well worth a proper old fashioned browse.
