We do not offer the reservation of goods. Many of our products are unique, antique, vintage or produced in limited quantities and are therefore available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Product Information & Variations
Home Barn specialises in artisan, reclaimed, vintage and antique furniture and homeware. The nature of these products means that variations should be expected and celebrated.
Reclaimed timber furniture may display knots, historic repairs, surface marks, dents, cracks, variations in grain, movement in the timber and tonal differences. These characteristics are not considered defects but form part of the beauty and authenticity of the materials used.
Artisan-made products may vary in colour, glaze, texture, weave, finish and appearance. No two pieces will be exactly alike.
Antique and vintage items will show evidence of age and historic use, including wear, marks, imperfections and repairs. These signs of age are an important part of the character and provenance of such pieces.
Product photography is intended as a guide only. Colours and finishes may vary depending on screen settings, photography, lighting conditions and the natural characteristics of the materials used.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP).
Prices displayed on our website are subject to change without notice.
All payments are processed securely through our payment providers. Home Barn does not store credit or debit card details.
Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched.

Following the successful placement of an order, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address supplied at checkout.
If you do not receive this email within a few minutes, please check your junk or spam folder before contacting us.

Delivery Times
Small parcel deliveries are typically completed within 2–7 working days.
Furniture deliveries are typically completed within 7–14 working days.
Deliveries to Scotland, Northern Ireland, offshore islands and remote locations may take longer.
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on location, courier schedules, weather conditions and seasonal demand.
If you require an item urgently, please contact us before placing your order.
Parcel Deliveries
Small items are usually dispatched via a national courier service.
Tracking information will be provided where available.
Customers are responsible for managing any delivery preferences, safe-place instructions or collection arrangements directly with the courier once tracking information has been issued.
Furniture Deliveries
Furniture deliveries are generally carried out using a one-person delivery service.
Delivery is to the ground floor of your property only.
Drivers are unable to carry furniture upstairs, downstairs, through building sites with unmade/unsafe ground. Drivers are not able to deliver via service lifts.
Many furniture items are substantial in size and weight. Customers should ensure suitable assistance is available to move items beyond the threshold once delivery has taken place.
Where applicable, furniture requiring assembly will be supplied for self-assembly unless otherwise stated.
For selected local deliveries, a two-person delivery and assembly service may be available by quotation.
Preparing For Delivery
Customers are responsible for ensuring adequate access for delivery.
Please carefully check all dimensions before placing an order and ensure items can be safely moved into their intended location.
If access restrictions, narrow hallways, staircases, low ceilings, parking restrictions or other obstacles may affect delivery, please notify us before ordering.
We cannot accept responsibility where goods cannot be delivered due to access restrictions at the property.
Delivery charges will not be refunded where delivery cannot be completed due to inadequate access or site restrictions.
Customers are responsible for arranging any required parking permits. Any costs incurred due to parking restrictions, fines or failed deliveries may be charged to the customer.
Our delivery vehicles must be able to park safely and reasonably close to the delivery address. Failed deliveries resulting from parking restrictions or access issues may incur additional delivery charges.
Property & Floor Protection
Customers should ensure that floors, carpets and delivery routes are adequately protected prior to delivery.
Any request for goods to be moved beyond the threshold of the property is undertaken entirely at the customer's risk.
Home Barn cannot accept responsibility for damage to property, flooring, fixtures or belongings where customers request delivery personnel to move items beyond the agreed delivery point.
Failed Deliveries
If you need to change an agreed delivery date, we kindly ask for at least 72 hours' notice wherever possible.
Where a delivery cannot be completed because nobody is available to receive the goods, or because access arrangements have not been made available as agreed, additional delivery charges may apply before a further delivery can be arranged.
Storage
We operate with limited storage capacity and aim to dispatch orders promptly.
Where customers are unable to accept delivery, or where delivery arrangements cannot be agreed within a reasonable period, storage charges of up to £125 per item, per week may be applied.
If required, we may be able to recommend independent local storage facilities.
Damaged Items
Please inspect your order promptly upon delivery.
Any damage, shortage or issue must be reported to us within 24 hours of receipt together with supporting photographs.
Failure to notify us within this timeframe may affect our ability to investigate claims with our delivery partners.
Online Returns & Cancellations
If you purchase from us online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing within the 14-day cancellation period by emailing info@homebarnshop.co.uk.
Once you have notified us of your decision to cancel, the goods must be returned to us within a further 14 days.
Returned items must be unused, in their original condition and, where possible, in their original packaging.
Customers are responsible for the cost of returning goods unless an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
For furniture and larger items, customers are responsible for arranging and paying for a suitable furniture courier.
Original delivery charges are non-refundable except where required by law.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that the goods have been returned.
In-Store Purchases & Returns
Items purchased in-store may be returned within 28 days of purchase with proof of purchase, provided they are unused and in their original condition.
This returns period cannot be extended.
Customers are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of returning items to us.
Furniture and larger items must be returned using a suitable furniture courier arranged by the customer and at the customer's expense.
Items purchased in a sale or at reduced prices are not eligible for refund or exchange unless faulty.
Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Delivery Inspection & Acceptance for items delivered by hand such as furniture and large items
Upon delivery, customers or their authorised representative will be given the opportunity to inspect the goods before signing to confirm receipt.
Where a delivery is accepted and signed for by the customer, a family member, contractor, builder, interior designer, site manager or any other person present at the delivery address, that individual shall be deemed authorised to accept delivery on the customer's behalf.
By signing for the goods, the customer or their authorised representative confirms that the goods have been received and that they have either inspected the items and are satisfied with their condition, or have chosen not to inspect them when given the opportunity to do so.
Home Barn and its delivery partners may photograph goods at the point of delivery for quality assurance, condition reporting and record-keeping purposes.
Claims relating to visible transit damage, shortages, incorrect items or other issues that would reasonably have been identified during inspection at the time of delivery may not be accepted where the goods have been signed for without inspection.
This clause does not affect a customer's statutory rights in relation to latent defects or faults that could not reasonably have been identified at the time of delivery.
Delivery Inspection & Acceptance for Parcel Deliveries
For items delivered by parcel courier, customers are responsible for inspecting both the packaging and contents as soon as reasonably possible following delivery.
If the parcel arrives visibly damaged, we recommend taking photographs of the packaging before opening. Any damage, shortages, incorrect items or delivery-related issues must be reported to us within 24 hours of receipt together with clear photographic evidence.
Please retain all original packaging materials until the matter has been resolved, as these may be required by the courier or insurer during any investigation.
We may be unable to accept claims for transit damage, shortages or missing items reported after this period where this affects our ability to investigate the matter with the courier or make a claim on your behalf.
Bespoke, Made-to-Order & Special Order Items
From time to time, Home Barn may offer bespoke, made-to-order or specially commissioned products.
Such items are produced specifically for a customer and cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged once production has commenced, unless they are faulty or not as described.
Where applicable, details of bespoke or made-to-order status will be clearly stated prior to purchase.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Condition of Returned Goods
Customers are responsible for taking reasonable care of goods whilst they remain in their possession.
We reserve the right to make a deduction from any refund where returned goods show signs of use, assembly, installation, damage, wear, handling beyond that reasonably necessary to inspect the goods, or where the value of the goods has been diminished as a result.
Returned goods must be returned complete with all components, fittings, instructions and accessories originally supplied.
Natural Characteristics of Timber
Wood is a natural material and will respond to changes in temperature, humidity and seasonal conditions within the home.
Minor movement, small surface cracks, shrinkage, expansion, variations in colour, knots, grain patterns and changes to the appearance of the timber over time are natural characteristics of solid wood furniture and are not considered manufacturing defects.
These natural changes form part of the character and ageing process of the material and should be expected when purchasing furniture made from solid, reclaimed or natural timber.
Product Suitability
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are suitable for their intended use and location before purchase.
Please carefully review all dimensions, specifications and product information provided. If you require clarification before ordering, we encourage you to contact our team.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that furniture can be safely delivered into its intended room and that adequate access is available at the delivery address.
Clearance & Ex-Display Items
Ex-display, clearance and discounted items may show signs of age, showroom use, storage, handling or minor imperfections. Any such characteristics will be reflected in the price and do not constitute faults.
Unless faulty or not as described, clearance, reduced-price and ex-display items are non-returnable and non-refundable. Your statutary rights are unnafected.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase.
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or extended.
Home Barn cannot accept responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen gift cards.
Privacy & Security
We collect personal information only for the purpose of processing and fulfilling your order.
We do not sell, rent or distribute customer information to third parties for marketing purposes.
All payment information is securely processed through accredited payment providers.
Further information can be found within our Privacy Policy.
Product Availability & Website Accuracy
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, dimensions, specifications, photographs and pricing are accurate at the time they are published.
However, errors may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to update information without prior notice.
The colours and appearance of products may vary depending on screen settings, photography, lighting conditions and the natural characteristics of the materials used.
All dimensions quoted on our website are approximate and may vary slightly, particularly for handmade, reclaimed, antique and vintage items.
Product Use & Suitability
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Home Barn furniture is intended for normal domestic use. Products should be used only for their intended purpose and in accordance with any care or assembly instructions provided.
Furniture should not be subjected to misuse, excessive loading, standing, climbing or any use for which it was not designed. Home Barn cannot accept responsibility for damage arising from incorrect assembly, installation, misuse, neglect or alterations carried out by the customer or any third party.
Products supplied for domestic use may not be suitable for commercial, hospitality or high-traffic environments unless specifically stated at the time of purchase.
Caring for Natural Materials
Wood is a natural material that will respond to changes in temperature and humidity within the home. To help preserve the appearance and performance of solid timber furniture, items should not be positioned immediately next to radiators, wood-burning stoves, underfloor heating outlets or other significant heat sources, nor should they be stored in excessively damp environments or exposed to prolonged direct sunlight.
For outdoor furniture, natural weathering, fading, movement and changes in appearance will occur over time when exposed to the elements. Where appropriate, we recommend using protective covers and storing furniture under cover during prolonged periods of adverse weather. These natural changes are not considered manufacturing defects.
To protect furniture finishes, we recommend using coasters, placemats and heatproof mats. Hot cookware, wet items and abrasive materials should not be placed directly onto furniture surfaces.
Product Information & Dimensions
Whilst every effort is made to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, dimensions and photographs are accurate, all dimensions and weights quoted are approximate and may vary slightly, particularly for handmade, reclaimed, antique and artisan-made products.
Product dimensions should not be relied upon for construction, architectural or fitted installation purposes. Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are suitable for their intended location and that adequate access is available for delivery.
Fraud Prevention & Security
Home Barn reserves the right to carry out reasonable verification checks where necessary to protect both our customers and our business from fraudulent transactions. We may request additional information or identification before processing or dispatching an order where we reasonably believe this is necessary for security, payment verification or regulatory compliance.
Where we are unable to satisfactorily verify an order, we reserve the right to delay, refuse or cancel the transaction and issue a full refund where appropriate.
Retention of Title
Ownership of goods remains with Home Barn Interiors Ltd until payment has been received in full and cleared funds have been received.
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure arises from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These circumstances may include, but are not limited to, acts of God, severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flood, industrial disputes, transport disruptions, supply chain interruptions, pandemics, government restrictions or any other event beyond our reasonable control.
In such circumstances, we will make every reasonable effort to fulfil our obligations as soon as practicable.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Subject to the above, Home Barn's liability in connection with any order shall be limited to the purchase price of the goods concerned.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or economic loss arising from the use of our products or services.
