Each beautiful handwoven Kilim rug has been carefully selected by us. They feature natural, faded colours and eye-catching designs within the weave.
The choices we make are based on overall size, pattern, and colour within the weave. We choose only the rugs we would love to have in our own homes. In selecting these rugs we often have to look through hundreds of rugs (it’s very hard to choose as they are all beautiful).
Because each of our Kilim rugs is woven by hand, they are all totally unique, there are never two made which are the same in colour or dimensions. The weaver creates his or her own design at the loom. This design and colour will often depend on what is available to them on that day, and this is what makes them all so unique.
Each piece of wool is hand-dyed using organic naturally occurring dyes found in nature. Kilims are made by interweaving the variously coloured wefts and warps, creating what is known as a flat weave.
Kilims are mostly associated with geometrical designs however, there are kilims with floral motifs as well. All our kilims have strong but subtle geometric weaves.

Parcel Delivery
We use Parcelforce to deliver our smaller items.
Courier Delivery – Furniture | bulky items | fragile items | heavy items
Delivery will take place via door-to-door courier an item is too large and heavy, long or fragile to be delivered in a parcel by any of the UK parcel providers.
This service is undertaken by a one-man delivery service.
Please be prepared to help to move the item from the van or lorry to just inside your door. When delivery takes place, it will be to just inside the threshold of your home only.
The courier will not be able to carry the furniture up or down steps to access your property.
You will need to supply a strong helper to assist on the day of delivery.
After the courier has left, you will need to remove the item from its packaging when present and carry it from your doorway into your home or garden.
Some items such as our dining tables flat packed for self-assembly. Many items of furniture require an element of self-assembly.
Delivery is added at the checkout - you will be able to view this charge before you pay.
Website orders for Scotland, Ireland, and
offshore Islands
Special quotation for deliveries is required for the following areas: Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, and Islands as well as all other offshore UK islands.
For a delivery quotation to these areas please contact us for a shipping price via email at info@homebarnshop.co.uk.
We will need your full delivery address and postcode, and a full and complete summary of your shopping basket to enable us to provide you with a quotation.
International delivery
We are sorry we do not offer international delivery however we are happy to work with the shippers of our international clients.
Collection of your order from Home Barn.
All our stock is listed online and available for nationwide delivery.
We welcome collection of your orders from our shop in Marlow Buckinghamshire, however, please note that we do not allow customer or their couriers to collect bulky items, heavy items or furniture items from Home Barn.
Not all of our beautiful stock is available in store, so please contact us before travelling to collect an item.
Collection of orders must be undertaken during standard opening hours.
Items must be collected within 10 days of ordering.
