Reclaimed Utility Bench Devon
Simple, elegant and understated. Our rustic reclaimed utility bench is the perfect bench for all homes and for all occasions. Crafted from solid reclaimed elm with a pale whitewash finish, the surface is perfectly imperfect, having the appearance of textured worn driftwood. They are wonderfully smooth and tactile in finish with a fabulous patina. Perfect for the natural, modern rustic or minimally stylish home.
The perfect sized bench - sit yours at the end of your bed, in the hallway or boot room. Our beautiful benches can also be used as an occasional dining bench when needs arise.
Featuring wonderful knots and natural imperfections, its lovely weathered appearance features rustic details that without a doubt only make it more lovely. These slight imperfections and historic marks are not sanded from the smooth tactile surface but are left on show to be embraced and celebrated.

Home Barn Store is located in a 17th-century barn in Buckinghamshire. We sell both vintage and reclaimed furniture & antiques, as well as home furnishings. This bench is a brilliant example of the exciting homeware accessories that are available within the shop. Home Barn is based in Little Marlow, so plan a visit to our shop of curiosities or explore our antique and crafted items online.
Parcel Delivery
We use Parcelforce to deliver our smaller items.
Courier Delivery – Furniture | bulky items | fragile items | heavy items
Delivery will take place via door-to-door courier an item is too large and heavy, long or fragile to be delivered in a parcel by any of the UK parcel providers.
This service is undertaken by a one-man delivery service.
Please be prepared to help to move the item from the van or lorry to just inside your door. When delivery takes place, it will be to just inside the threshold of your home only.
The courier will not be able to carry the furniture up or down steps to access your property.
You will need to supply a strong helper to assist on the day of delivery.
After the courier has left, you will need to remove the item from its packaging when present and carry it from your doorway into your home or garden.
Some items such as our dining tables flat packed for self-assembly. Many items of furniture require an element of self-assembly.
Delivery is added at the checkout - you will be able to view this charge before you pay.
Website orders for Scotland, Ireland, and
offshore Islands
Special quotation for deliveries is required for the following areas: Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, and Islands as well as all other offshore UK islands.
For a delivery quotation to these areas please contact us for a shipping price via email at info@homebarnshop.co.uk.
We will need your full delivery address and postcode, and a full and complete summary of your shopping basket to enable us to provide you with a quotation.
International delivery
We are sorry we do not offer international delivery however we are happy to work with the shippers of our international clients.
Collection of your order from Home Barn.
All our stock is listed online and available for nationwide delivery.
We welcome collection of your orders from our shop in Marlow Buckinghamshire, however, please note that we do not allow customer or their couriers to collect bulky items, heavy items or furniture items from Home Barn.
Not all of our beautiful stock is available in store, so please contact us before travelling to collect an item.
Collection of orders must be undertaken during standard opening hours.
Items must be collected within 10 days of ordering.
