Antique Wooden Dough Bowls

Our Antique wooden Dough Bowls are unique items with so much character.

Full of interest, this wonderful bowl shows off the beautiful characteristics of the wood’s grain and texture. Weathered and worn to perfection, it is unique in patina, wear and colour.

Carved from one piece of wood, it is smooth and tactile to the touch. Wonderfully organic in shape and form and would make an eye-catching statement centrepiece in your home.

Dough bowls can be dated back to the early 1900s and were used in Europe to knead and prove bread dough. The dough bowls can still be used as such, but these days we tend to use them more as decorative items around the home.

They look stunning on a table, loaded with fruit or vegetables, but would also suit magazines, hand towels in a bathroom or books on a coffee table. Even empty these stylish decorative antiques are beautiful.

Generally time-worn with signs of use and age, therefore please expect imperfections, cracks, irregular patina and historic woodworm holes in some items. These imperfections are the essence of their beauty. A truly original antique, totally handmade and one-of-a-kind.

SPECIALIST FURNITURE DELIVERY AS STANDARD

Larger, heavier or more delicate pieces are delivered by our trusted specialist furniture couriers, who are experienced in transporting quality furniture with the care and attention it deserves.

Most mainland UK furniture deliveries are completed within 7–14 working days of placing your order.

Once your order has been received, we'll confirm everything by email before our delivery partner contacts you directly to arrange a convenient delivery date.

Our specialist furniture delivery service is carried out by a dedicated one-person furniture courier.

To help ensure a smooth delivery, we kindly ask that a capable adult is available to assist the driver with larger furniture items where required. Delivery is made to the ground-floor entrance of your property.

Many of our customers find this service quick, efficient and an excellent value option for larger furniture deliveries.

PREMIUM TWO-PERSON DELIVERY / ASSEMBLY

For complete peace of mind, we also offer a premium two-person delivery / assembly service on many of our larger furniture pieces.

Our experienced team will carefully deliver your furniture, position it in the room of your choice and professionally assemble it where applicable, leaving you free to simply enjoy your new purchase.

SELF-ASSEMBLY

Some furniture, including selected dining tables, is supplied flat-packed to ensure safe transportation. Where self-assembly is required, comprehensive instructions and all necessary fittings are included, making assembly straightforward.

SCOTLAND & OFFSHORE LOCATIONS

We're delighted to deliver throughout most of mainland UK.

For deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and other offshore UK islands, please contact us before placing your order. We'll be pleased to provide a personalised delivery quotation based on your location and the items you've chosen.

COLLECTING YOUR ORDER

You're very welcome to collect eligible purchases from our Marlow, Buckinghamshire showroom during our normal opening hours.

As some items are stored at separate warehouse locations, we recommend contacting us before travelling so we can ensure your order is prepared and ready for collection.

Please note that large furniture and bulky items are available by delivery only.
