There is something reassuring about a table made from timber that has already stood the test of time.
Crafted from solid reclaimed elm, much of it salvaged from old elm doors, this generously proportioned farmhouse dining table brings warmth, texture and a wonderful sense of permanence to the heart of the home. Its simple design allows the beauty of the old timber to take centre stage, with natural grain, tonal variation and historic markings giving every table its own individual character.
Available in 200cm, 250cm and 300cm lengths, it comfortably seats from 6 to 10 people. The 300cm table also features traditional breadboard ends, adding another layer of character to its generous proportions.
In stock and ready for delivery, with coordinating reclaimed elm benches available separately.

300cm table: Features a 14cm breadboard end at each end.
Four Amelie Dining Chairs, Windsor Dining Chairs or Danish Dining Chairs can be positioned along the long side. Four Hoxton chairs will not fit comfortably along one side.
Reclaimed elm has a depth and individuality that perfectly uniform new timber simply cannot replicate. Historic repairs, knots, compression marks, dents and subtle variations in colour and grain are part of its story, bringing the warmth and authenticity of old timber into the home.
Each table is individually crafted, so no two will be completely identical. The photographs shown are a fair representation of the overall colour, character, finish and proportions you can expect.
An invisible matt lacquer protects the surface while preserving the natural appearance and tactile quality of the elm. The finish is water-resistant rather than waterproof, so spills should still be wiped away promptly.
This is very much a table to live around – from family breakfasts and working from home to Sunday lunches and long evenings entertaining friends.
Its uncomplicated design works beautifully in country kitchens, barn conversions, period houses and contemporary open-plan homes. Pair it with antique chairs for a collected feel, contemporary seating for a cleaner look, or one of our reclaimed elm benches for relaxed family dining.

The 180cm bench can also be used with the 200cm table, and the 230cm bench with the 250cm table, although they will not slide completely between the table legs.
This table is newly made from genuine reclaimed elm. Natural grain patterns, knots, historic repairs, surface marks, dents, compression marks and tonal differences should therefore be expected and celebrated.
These characteristics are not considered faults; they are evidence of the timber's previous life and ensure every table has its own character.
The invisible matt lacquer provides practical everyday protection. Use coasters and placemats and avoid placing wet items, hot cookware or oily foods directly onto the timber. Wipe spills away promptly.
For everyday cleaning, use a soft, lightly damp cloth and dry afterwards. Avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners and do not scrub the surface.
Over time, subtle new marks will become part of the wider patina – one of the qualities that makes reclaimed timber so well suited to furniture intended to be lived with and enjoyed.
