An expressive original abstract painting by artist Em Wilkie, this one-of-a-kind artwork brings colour, movement and individuality to an interior.
Built through layers of gestural brushwork and beautifully considered colour, the composition combines soft blush pinks, warm creams and chalky whites with contrasting charcoal and muted grey. Areas of visible texture and sweeping, spontaneous marks give the painting a wonderful sense of depth, allowing different details to emerge depending on the light and where it is viewed from.
Its generous scale makes it a natural statement piece for a living room, entrance hall, bedroom or dining space. We particularly love the juxtaposition of contemporary abstract art alongside antique and reclaimed furniture, where the softness and energy of the painting provide an unexpected contrast to aged timber and timeworn surfaces.
As an original Em Wilkie painting, this is a completely unique work rather than a print or reproduction. There is only one available, making it a truly individual piece of contemporary art for a collected and personal interior.
Dimensions : 120cm x100cm
Please Note: This is an original, one-of-a-kind artwork. Variations in texture, visible brushwork, layered paint and the artist’s individual marks are intrinsic to the piece and form part of its unique character.
