Most mainland UK furniture deliveries are completed within 7–14 working days of placing your order.

Once your order has been received, we'll confirm everything by email before our delivery partner contacts you directly to arrange a convenient delivery date.

Our specialist furniture delivery service is carried out by a dedicated one-person furniture courier.

To help ensure a smooth delivery, we kindly ask that a capable adult is available to assist the driver with larger furniture items where required. Delivery is made to the ground-floor entrance of your property.

Many of our customers find this service quick, efficient and an excellent value option for larger furniture deliveries.

PREMIUM TWO-PERSON DELIVERY / ASSEMBLY

For complete peace of mind, we also offer a premium two-person delivery / assembly service on many of our larger furniture pieces.

Our experienced team will carefully deliver your furniture, position it in the room of your choice and professionally assemble it where applicable, leaving you free to simply enjoy your new purchase.

SELF-ASSEMBLY

Some furniture, including selected dining tables, is supplied flat-packed to ensure safe transportation. Where self-assembly is required, comprehensive instructions and all necessary fittings are included, making assembly straightforward.

You're very welcome to collect eligible purchases from our Marlow, Buckinghamshire showroom during our normal opening hours.

As some items are stored at separate warehouse locations, we recommend contacting us before travelling so we can ensure your order is prepared and ready for collection.

Antique french blue decorative double doors

A truly beautiful pair of antique French Louis XV style double doors, rich with the timeworn character and decorative detailing that make original architectural pieces so special.

Finished in a wonderfully faded blue-grey paint, the doors feature a series of classic raised and shaped panels, with elegant curves and moulded detailing characteristic of the Louis XV style. Layers of naturally aged paint, areas of exposed timber and the softly distressed surface have developed over many years, creating an exceptional patina that simply cannot be recreated with a newly made piece.

The doors retain their original metal hardware, adding another layer of authenticity and history. Their unusually decorative form makes them a wonderful choice for an interior renovation or restoration project, whether incorporated as statement double doors between rooms, used for a pantry or dressing room, or creatively repurposed as architectural wall panelling or a decorative feature.

We particularly love the contrast between their elegant French proportions and beautifully imperfect finish. Please Note

As genuine antique architectural pieces, these doors bear the wonderful evidence of their age and former life. The painted finish is naturally worn and distressed, with areas of paint loss, exposed timber, marks, knocks and variations in colour throughout. These characteristics are integral to their history and give the doors their beautifully individual, timeworn appearance.

As with all antique doors, we recommend checking the dimensions carefully against your intended opening and allowing for any fitting or adaptation that may be required by your installer.
