Quietly sculptural and beautifully tactile, this handcrafted fibre wall art brings subtle texture and architectural interest to an interior without overwhelming the space. Its soft natural-white palette and geometric, almost relief-like design create depth through shadow and texture, making it particularly striking within calm, considered interiors.
Each piece is made by hand by skilled artisans using cotton paper created from waste cotton from the fashion industry. Discarded cotton cloth is transformed through a considered process of shredding, pulping, shaping, drying and painting, turning what would otherwise be waste into a beautifully refined decorative artwork.
The layered composition is framed in solid wood, providing a warm, understated contrast to the pale textured surface. At an impressive 120cm high, its generous scale gives the piece presence while the restrained palette keeps the overall effect wonderfully serene.
We particularly love this style of artwork in contemporary country homes, entrance halls and living spaces, where its combination of natural materials, craftsmanship and understated design adds interest without introducing unnecessary colour.

From Textile Waste to Artwork
Part of the beauty of this piece lies in how it is made. Cotton waste is carefully shredded and pulped before being shaped, dried and painted by hand. The process creates the distinctive organic texture visible across the surface while giving discarded textile fibres a new purpose.
As a handcrafted piece, subtle variations in texture, surface and finish are part of its character rather than imperfections. These individual details are a reflection of the materials and the hands involved in its making.
Styling
Its restrained palette makes this a particularly versatile piece of wall art. Hang it above a console or sideboard, introduce it to a generous entrance hall, or use it within a living or dining room where its scale can be fully appreciated.
Against limewashed plaster, warm neutral walls or alongside antique and reclaimed furniture, the sculptural surface creates a beautiful contrast – quiet, textural and timeless.
Materials
Primary material: Cotton paper made from recycled cotton textile waste
Frame: Solid wood
Finish: Hand-shaped and painted
Please Note
Due to the handcrafted nature of this artwork and the use of natural and recycled materials, subtle variations in texture, tone and finish should be expected. These characteristics form part of the individuality of each piece. Some of the papery fabric may be folded and contains irregularities as it is made from an organic recycled material.
