Once your order has been received, we'll confirm everything by email before our delivery partner contacts you directly to arrange a convenient delivery date.

To help ensure a smooth delivery, we kindly ask that a capable adult is available to assist the driver with larger furniture items where required. Delivery is made to the ground-floor entrance of your property.

PREMIUM TWO-PERSON DELIVERY / ASSEMBLY

Warm, tactile and full of character, the oak reveals knots, historic markings, tonal variation and natural imperfections throughout. Rather than being sanded to a silky smooth finish, the surface retains a beautifully textured grain that can both be seen and felt.

Having already had a previous life, reclaimed oak carries an individuality that newly harvested, uniformly finished timber simply cannot replicate.
The Suffolk has been deliberately created for those who appreciate a more informal, rustic look and feel. Knots, cracks, small holes and voids, historic marks, tonal variation and irregularities in the grain remain visible, while the textured surface allows you to feel the character of the timber beneath your fingertips.
A water-based varnish provides practical everyday protection while preserving the natural appearance and tactile quality of the oak.
The result is a dining table that feels wonderfully relaxed and uncontrived – particularly suited to homes where furniture is there to be lived with and enjoyed.

What to expect | Natural Timber Character
Suffolk is newly made from solid reclaimed oak and is intentionally rustic in appearance. It is not an antique table.
Knots, cracks, fissures, historic markings, small holes and voids, colour variation and areas of uneven grain are expected characteristics of naturally grown timber that has had a previous life. The tabletop is also tactile rather than completely silky smooth, so its grain and natural irregularities can both be seen and felt.
These characteristics are not considered faults; they are fundamental to the appearance and individuality of reclaimed oak.
If you prefer timber that is completely smooth, uniform and free from knots and historic markings, another of our dining tables may be a better fit for you. If you love the individuality and imperfections of old wood, these are precisely the characteristics that make it special.
Care Guide
The Suffolk is finished with a water-based varnish to provide a practical degree of protection for everyday dining.
We recommend using coasters and placemats and avoiding placing wet items, hot cookware or oily foods directly onto the timber. Water, oils, fats and other liquids should be wiped away promptly.
For everyday cleaning, use a soft, lightly damp cloth and buff dry. Avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners.
As Suffolk is made from natural timber, its appearance will continue to evolve through everyday life. Over time, subtle new marks will become part of the wider patina and character of the table.

How many people does the Suffolk dining table seat?
Suffolk comfortably seats eight, with its generous 250cm × 110cm tabletop providing plenty of elbow room. There is 178cm of space between the legs. For larger gatherings this table is generous enough to pull up extra chairs.
Our Windsor chairs are a great fit as there is plenty of space between each chairs for elbow room.
Our Amelie Chairs would also give plenty of elbow space.
Three of our Hoxton chairs fit between the legs on the long side but this gives a very snug fit so if choosing Hoxton chairs we think that this table would seat six comfortably rather than eight.
Is the Suffolk made from solid oak?

Is the tabletop completely smooth?
No. This is an important part of Suffolk's character. Rather than being finished to a silky smooth, uniform surface, the oak retains a tactile grain with knots and natural irregularities that can both be seen and felt.
