SPECIALIST FURNITURE DELIVERY AS STANDARD

Larger, heavier or more delicate pieces are delivered by our trusted specialist furniture couriers, who are experienced in transporting quality furniture with the care and attention it deserves.

Most mainland UK furniture deliveries are completed within 7–14 working days of placing your order.

Once your order has been received, we'll confirm everything by email before our delivery partner contacts you directly to arrange a convenient delivery date.

Our specialist furniture delivery service is carried out by a dedicated one-person furniture courier.

To help ensure a smooth delivery, we kindly ask that a capable adult is available to assist the driver with larger furniture items where required. Delivery is made to the ground-floor entrance of your property.

Many of our customers find this service quick, efficient and an excellent value option for larger furniture deliveries.

PREMIUM TWO-PERSON DELIVERY / ASSEMBLY

For complete peace of mind, we also offer a premium two-person delivery / assembly service on many of our larger furniture pieces.

Our experienced team will carefully deliver your furniture, position it in the room of your choice and professionally assemble it where applicable, leaving you free to simply enjoy your new purchase.

SELF-ASSEMBLY

Some furniture, including selected dining tables, is supplied flat-packed to ensure safe transportation. Where self-assembly is required, comprehensive instructions and all necessary fittings are included, making assembly straightforward.

We're delighted to deliver throughout most of mainland UK.

COLLECTING YOUR ORDER

You're very welcome to collect eligible purchases from our Marlow, Buckinghamshire showroom during our normal opening hours.

As some items are stored at separate warehouse locations, we recommend contacting us before travelling so we can ensure your order is prepared and ready for collection.

Please note that large furniture and bulky items are available by delivery only.

Vintage bamboo side table

A wonderfully characterful vintage bamboo side table, with an elegant tall silhouette and beautifully aged finish. Crafted from natural bamboo, the slender frame, gently curved legs and decorative bamboo detailing give this unusual piece a wonderfully light and sculptural quality.

The square top retains the warmth and texture that comes with age, while the natural variation throughout the bamboo gives the table an authentic, timeworn appearance. Its delicate proportions make it particularly useful where a larger piece of furniture might feel too heavy.

Perfect as an occasional side table beside an armchair or sofa, it would also work beautifully as a bedside table, a decorative plant stand or positioned in a hallway topped with a favourite lamp, books or collected objects. Its relaxed character sits effortlessly within contemporary country interiors, period homes and more eclectic schemes.

Home Barn Store is located in a 17th-century barn, selling vintage, reclaimed and locally crafted home furnishings. These tables are a brilliant example of the plethora of exciting antiques and homeware accessories available within the shop. Home Barn is based in Little Marlow, so plan a visit to our shop of curiosities and shop our antique and crafted items.

Courier Delivery

Delivery will take place via door-to-door courier as this item is too large and heavy, long or fragile to be delivered in a parcel by any of the UK parcel providers.

This service is undertaken by a one-man delivery service.

When delivery takes place it will be to just inside the threshold of your home only. The courier will not be able to carry the delivery up or down steps to access your property.

After the courier has left you will need to remove the item from its packaging when present and carry it from your doorway into your home or garden.

Delivery is added at the checkout - you will be able to view this charge before you pay.
